ProZ.com powwow: Let's establish an unformal association

Dear Friends!
On 2nd of September 2004, the Powwow has been held in Tbilisi. Special thanks to Maya Gorgoshidze and Lela Pavliashvili, who kindly allowed us to there business place!
The Powwow has been attended by ten members of Proz.com as follows:
Ms Maka Berozashvili (GEO),
Ms Maya Gorgoshidze (GEO),
Ms Tamar Kvlividze (GEO),
Ms Nino Mardaleishvili (GEO),
Ms Lela Pavliashvili (GEO),
Ms Marina Sichinava (GEO),
Ms Veronica Steparenko (GEO),
Mr Alizada Sain (AZE),
Mr Davit Mugalashvili (GEO) &
Mr Levan Namoradze (GEO).
That was very pleasant informal meeting, where we discussed some business and other matters and shared some experience also.
In particular, we talked about the Proz, the importance of the ID Verification, the CAT Tools, some business relations and tips, payment terms, establishment of a translators union or an association in Georgia and creation of a Georgian Forum at Proz.com.
In addition, I, Levan Namoradze have verified the IDs of five Proz members.
great idea-we should all try to help one another.I suggest that Levan applies for permission to"VID members in person"so that if there's a meeting he or I will both be able to give members"verified identity"status.I'll write to the site+send Levan details
Our company is based in Azerbaijan and Turkey and we would be very much interested in attending this powwow to exchange experiences and ideas with our Georgian colleagues and contribute to establishment of informal South Caucasian association. Thank you!

1. I think, we could start thinking as where we could meet on 2nd of September. 2. Dear colleague, I was empowered for verifying your ID. I.e. if you could bring them with you, then I could verify your identities. E.g. Nata does not need that since she has been already verified.

VID (verified identity) status is optional, and intended to be a benefit to members - you are all very welcome to get it (free) at the meeting if you would like to

Well, as far as we see, everybody agreed to Maya's place (see above). As for time, I would like to suggest to meet at 10.00 a.m. (10 o'clock in the morning). I think, 2-3 hours could be enough therefore. At this stage, we could avoid any formal agenda. We could meet in an informal environment, discuss our arrangements and draw up any further joint activities. Levan
