The overall topic is forestry, but this particular section addresses other activities. The passage gives examples of 'линейных объектов'. I think I know what it means, I just don't have a good translation. Thanks in advance for any responses.

TKS for your comments The text inferred a distinction between 'facilities' (e.g. pump house or electrical substation) and 'linear facilities' (pipelines, electrical lines, etc.). I got a fair number of hits for 'linear facilities' from Google, so I went with that. However, should I encounter the term in the future, I might be inclined to translate it as 'point-to-point facilities' (which I think is more in line with the Russian explanation).

The main topic is forestry. Did you ever look at a forest where a (linear) swath of trees is cut down to run road, pipelines, transmission lines, roads, survey lines, etc.? There are no "facilities," just "linear objects." (Previous, you're, not your)

В таком контексте "линнейный объект" подразумевает все сооружения вдоль трассы. Таков русский язык.

Part "и других линейных объектов " if rendered 'freely' means '...and other "such as previously mentioned"\similar installations\projects

So, in English i'd simply put something like:

... and other installations similar to the listed above".

[these are not line facilities as it reads like some kind of infrastructure around, say, a pipe line. This is a pipe line itself (or some other 'line')]

Really?! I don't see any mention about infrastructure, just the linear objects you mention - transmission lines, pipe lines, etc.. I don't see anything about facilities along them.
