positive revenue
Almost 50% of all the participants booked/posted positive revenue in 2013. You really want to stay away from earnings here, which is an accounting term that is almost always used in the sense of "net earnings" aka profits for the lay folks or earnings after allowed deductions but before interest and/or tax. There's plenty of synonyms for revenue as well: sales, sales proceeds, receipts, gross income, etc. Take your pick and leave earnings alone. Naturally, all of this only applies if they do mean gross receipts rather than net earnings in your text overall. You just can't be sure with these modern scribblers.
