I am a native English and fluent Russian speaker based in Vancouver, Canada. I hold a Master's degree in Russian studies and have over 9 years of Russian-English translating and English language editing/proofreading experience (US, Canadian, and British variants). I am an Associate Member of the Society of Translators and Interpreters of British Columbia (STIBC) in the Russian to English translation pair.

Over the years, I have developed expertise in several fields, including: Business/Commerce, Advertising/Public Relations, Marketing/Market Research, Journalism, Economics, International Organizations/Development, Social Sciences, and General Correspondence. I have worked for a variety of high-profile clients, including large companies in the private sector, with government-sponsored projects, in academia, and within the non-profit sector.

My education includes a Master’s degree in Russian studies from the respected Institute of European, Russian and Eurasian Studies (EURUS) at Carleton University (Ottawa, Canada); a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Russian Language from the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, Canada); and a certificate in Russian Language from Saint Petersburg State University (Russia).

My years of living, studying, and working in Russia enabled me to develop the linguistic fluency and sociocultural competence vital to ensuring your end translation is both accurate and impactful.
