Sometimes you need to clean up a dirty translation memory (TMX file).

First, I will write about the features available in the Task menu.

In a separate post, I will write about how to use tab-delimited translation memories for advanced cleaning and possibly segment manipulation.

Well, actually I don't need to describe anything. It's already there.

Note that these operations work on any attached TMX file in a translation project, as well in TMX edit workflow:

You can filter on garbage and then remove the filtered segments from the TMX. You can replace text in the source or target segments, etc. etc.
