I'm getting ready to buy a new PC. I searched the Across site to see if it will run under Windows 7 and can't find any statement on the subject. Does anyone know the answer or have experience using Across on a Windows 7 computer? I'm currently using version 4. Will I need to move to version 5?

Both v4 (with service pack 3) and v5.

Across v5 works as expected (?) under Windows 7. I've got Windows 7 Professional, the 64-bit version, and there are no hiccups.

Having said that, I cannot help it but point out that the upgrade from v4 to v5 was very disappointing with regard to innovation and features. Let's just hope things will get better with the first service pack or subsequent ones. But then again, SPs are not (as a rule) meant to incorporate dramatic changes.
