The backup instructions (in crossGoodies) informs that:

"To avoid data loss or problems in executing the Tool, make sure that there are no other applications accessing to the SQL server before starting the Tool."

How can I check if there is any application acessing the SQL databank? Is it a good idea to start my Windows XP Home in safety mode and then run the backup tool?
