Thanks everyone for coming to this well-attended powwow (if I've missed anyone off the attendance list, please feel free to email me via Proz). After a round of "who am I" interspersed by questions and answers, Florence initiated a discussion about proofreading / revising / editing. Some fundamental questions were answered, and we will put together our notes to a brief guideline document for all attendees. Thanks again to Florence for sharing her ideas on this crucial topic with all of us!!
It looks like "how to market yourself as a translator" is a burning issue for many of us, so we will probably focus our next powwow on that. As usual, if anyone would like to email me their ideas with regards to this or other topics, I'd be most grateful.
I won't be able to hold a powwow in June, so if anyone else would like to organise one for June, please feel free. Otherwise there'll probably be one in July, but I can't confirm the date yet - keep an eye on the page and notifications.
Hello people, I\'ve been unable to organise a summer powwow but have my eye on 18 September, so do keep a lookout for that, to be confirmed later on in August. Of course anyone can organise a powwow in the meantime, do feel free!
