As far as I go back in my mind, I have always had a great passion for languages.. I am not only passionate about multil...ingual communication but I am infecting with passion for languages as well. My ambition and commitment ensure that I am reliable and efficient at all times. My forte is 7 years of academic education strictly connected with English Language: I hold Bachelor's Degree in English and Business, taught Masters in Business English and Diploma in Translation and Interpretation Postgraduate Studies (DPSI equivalent). Shortly after obtaining last university diploma in translations in 2007, I decided to move to United Kingdom to put gained knowledge and skills into effect. Instead of London, where almost everybody communicates in English, I went for Peterborough accomodating 17,000 of Poles - non-speakers of English. There are many medical / dental translations and interpretations done on my account thanks to having Mother mentor as a dentist. My second speciality is undoubtedly Business English and Advertising having studied subjects for 5 years and basing each three diploma thesis on the self-study of advertising as the notion of language messages. I have also been doing various translations for academic purposes, i.e. interpreting at the conference as well as translations of post conference prospectus for Academy of Humanities and Economics in Lodz, department in Bytom. I have done translations and localization for well known companies such as BMW, Galaxy transport, MarlexII. It is undoubtedly worth to mention participation in various conferences (ProZ Cracow, Warsaw, Prague) trainings and STP courses specialising in various areas of translation. As interpreter, you are most likely to find me in Peterborough and Stamford hospitals doing F2F medical checks - interpretations for NHS dctors and patients or in Peterborough Regional College teaching ESOL- English as a Second Language and helping other nationals to communicate clearly. As translator, in between various assignments, I am constantly working on self-development. I have recently decided to gain full ProZ.com membership.
