Description
A common request made to many trainers is from students who would like more training on terminology. To meet this need, Claudia Brauer and ProZ.com have teamed up and designed a set of nine sessions to cover beginner, intermediate and advance terminology in healthcare, legal and finance/business settings.
Claudia will introduce potential attendees to the topics that will be covered in September, during the three intermediate terminology sessions in healthcare, legal and finance/business settings and the other three sessions in November, covering advanced terminology topics in those domains.
Claudia will also make a short recap of the beginner-level sessions already presented (and fully available as recorded videos).
(The session is language-neutral delivered in English but appropriate for any language pair.)

This would be a very good opportunity to refresh my memory with regard to terminology and terms as in my course of study, I learned about the history of terminology not how to make the best of it.

Hello, Oscar. Yes, that is exactly our intent. Now we are starting the first series on intermediate terminology and in November we will have the advanced terminology. And these are just the beginning. We are planning on having regularly scheduled terminology webinars all year long in 2014. One of the things we want to hear from you and any others attending the free webinar is what would your expectations be for future terminology series.... I already received an email, for example, on someone who wants terminology to interpret in end-of-life and organ-donation situations. So, that is one of the things we want to accomplish, is to listen to your needs so that we may prepare future webinars to meet those needs!
