Universally Speaking is currently looking for an experienced Japanese ↔ English interpreter to support a client with a series of in-person business meetings in New York from 7–11 October 2026.

Assignment Details
• Dates: 7-11 October 2026
• Schedule: 7 Oct is likely full day, 8-11 Oct expected to be half day or a few hours each day
• Overtime: May be required if meeting run longer than expected
• Language: English <-> Japanese
• Location: New York
• Format: In person interpreting
• Meetings: There will be several meetings, with one party at the time
• Preferred experience: Familiarity with gaming and anime
• Confidentiality: All discussions will be strictly confidential and we would require the interpreter to work under NDA

Requirements:
Professional interpreting experience in Japanese ↔ English
Excellent command of both Japanese and English
Experience with business meetings/consecutive interpreting
Based in the New York area or able to attend the assignment locally
Available during the required dates
Professional and comfortable handling confidential business discussions
