Background 
GienTech is looking for native English translators who can provide stable and high-quality services for our strategic clients in the gaming industry. This collaboration offers a stable and abundant workload, giving you the opportunity to localize a variety of blockbuster games across different genres—all from the comfort of your own home, without the hassle of commuting.
 
Job Responsibilities 
• According to the task assignment of the GienTech project manager, responsible for the Translation, Editing, Proofreading, or Translation Polishing of different game contents. Only one type of task will be assigned at a time. 
• According to the task assignment of the GienTech project manager, perform language quality testing (LQA) on specified content in the game;
• According to the task assignment of the GienTech project manager, perform quality evaluation (LQE) on the translation quality of the game and submit LQE reports; 
• According to the requirements of the GienTech project manager, create and maintain game terminology, translation style guides, or other project guidelines; 
• In certain special business scenarios, directly communicate with and complete the assigned tasks from the clients served by GienTech;

Requirements 
[Must Haves]
• Please state your language proficiency (e.g., Native/Professional Proficiency) in your application.
• Familial with game localization or gaming enthusiast
[Nice To Haves]
• At least 2 years of translation or editing experience in game localization industry will be a plus
• Experience using Phrase (Memosource) or other CAT tools will be a plus 
• Response time should not exceed 2 hours; 
• Accept MTPE tasks.
