I am a fully
qualified and very experienced translator with degrees in both
translation/interpreting and engineering.  My abilities and professional skills are
recognised in the UK by both ITI and IoL. 
I also achieved top marks in all Moscow International School of
Translation & Interpreting (MISTI) qualification examinations and hold
membership in ITI for many years.

I have many years experience in the
following fields: technical translation (esp. oil & gas, construction, computer
science, electronics, electrical engineering, automotive industry), legal documentation
(contracts), economics/finance, commercial/advertising (transcreation),
subtitling and voice-overs.

Higher technical education and professional use of
computers earlier in my career ensure the ability to familiarise with and make
a full use of any modern software.  I am
fully familiar with all software applications commonly used in translation
business, including CAT tools (I am SDL Trados Certified), office productivity and
DTP packages.  I am also familiar with
such specialised software as AutoCAD and Microstation.

I have achieved the 'first choice translator' status
with many UK agencies which value high quality of my work and strict
adherence to all deadlines.  I have been
established in the UK as a translator for more than 25 years and have obtained
excellent experience.  I am certain that
my expertise, technical background, knowledge, professional skills and abilities will greatly benefit anyone's business.
