I am a native speaker of French. I hold a degree in English, equivalent to a BA, from a French university and have spent more than 20 years in Japan.
With over two years of experience as a coordinator / checker in a translation agency in Tokyo prior to 14 years of experience as a freelance translator, I fully understand translation quality standards and the importance of on time delivery.

Along the years, I have acquired expertise in Japan's official development assistance (ODA) process, from the translation of Exchange of Notes to specification documents and ex-post evaluation reports for projects in a large variety of sectors (construction and civil engineering, water, agriculture / husbandry, fishery, transport, energy, education, and health care). I have also a strong experience in translation / proofreading of corporate documentation, user's manuals for industrial equipment, business letters, etc.

Besides accuracy and correct usage of target language, I constantly aim at ensuring smooth communication.
