Но, разработанные задолго до появления концепции параметризации, эти системы
вынуждены использовать для поддержки параметризации свою, не приспособленную

неэффективных, либо ограниченных решений. Революционно новый подход к идее параметризации и то, что параметрическая модель лежит в основе чертежа, при работе в системе Чудо-САПР качественно расширяют возможности

Перевод - английский Associative design driven by assigning and modifying variable parameters is the way to follow by all design and drawing automation systems. The particular success of WonderCAD is based primarily on a new paradigm in geometric modeling. This paradigm is about a new, deeper, level of parameterization, compared to other systems. The idea of parameterization itself has nowadays become a standard in CAD. By “parameterization”, we usually mean a provision for extensive reuse of drawings by modifying parameters. Virtually all CAD vendors claim parametric competence of their systems. However, those systems, being initially introduced long before ideas of parameterization were adopted, often have to rely on their legacy data structure that is inherently nonparametric. This makes their solutions suffer from ineffectiveness or limited range of applicability. The WonderCAD’s revolutionary approach to the concept of parameterization, with the drawings being based on inherently parametric models, brings a new dimension to parametric design.
