My name is Nick Kolesnyk, I am a professional technical translator from English language to Ukrainian and Russian.
My native languages are both Ukrainian and Russian. It's a normal situation for a post-Soviet country, where everybody knew his own native language and Russian as the state language. I make equally good translations in either of the languages. I constantly make translations into both of them.
I've been making translations for 9 years now. During the last two years, I've been working as a professional technical translator, having become proficient in computer aided translation and particularly in using CAT tools such as Trados (Workbench, Tageditor, Multiterm), Transit XV, SDLX, Helium, LocStudio, etc.
My main specialization has been translation of oil and gas industry technical documents, electronics & household appliances manuals for cameras, camcorders, audio systems, multifunctional devices, computers, voice recorders etc., as well as software and web help localization for world top-ranked providers of software and web services.
I would like to cooperate with a translation agency as a translator from English to Ukrainian and Russian languages.
