Educated as a translator and an interpreter with English and Ukrainian as my working languages, I have consolidated my knowledge and experience over the years. In 2002-2004 I interpreted at a number of conferences, lecture series and business meetings, covering such topics as European history, theater, health (for an NGO helping people who live with HIV), trade, agriculture, politics.
Since then I have also translated in the fiels of water and waste water industry, renewable energy (hydropower) and tourism.

In 2009 I completed an internship at TITELBILD Subtitling & Translation GmbH in Berlin, and in the following years worked as a film translator for several subtitling companies. In addition, I have solid experience in audiovisual transcription.

Throughout my career I have translated essays and articles in social sciences and cultural studies for Ukrainian publications.
Having lived and studied in Germany from 2004 to 2014 and passed level C2 examination (Großes Deutsches Sprachdiplom), I also translate from German into Ukrainian.

In 2014-2016 I was on maternity leave, and in 2016-2020 I worked as a library assistant for Hampshire Libraries, UK.

Currently I reside in Denmark, and I'm happy to take on translation projects that primarily focus on issues of social and climate justice, environment and ecology, regenerative agriculture, biology, art, migration, and progressive politics.
