I am a legal Russian to English translator with 14+ years of experience, both in-house at a leading London immigration law firm, and as a freelancer. 

Bilingual and bi-cultural from a very young age, I grew up speaking both Russian and English natively. I have studied and worked with languages my entire working career and have an in-depth understanding of both source and target cultures. Accustomed to working in-house in a fast-paced environment, I deliver work quickly whilst maintaining a high standard. 

I specialise in the areas of immigration law, human rights, ECtHR and Russian criminal and civil law. I have translated various documents ranging from court materials (statements, rulings, affidavits) to contracts, litigation documents, legal opinions and memoranda, as well as media and marketing material.  I can certify documents required for submission to various authorities (e.g. marriage/birth certificates, passports, diplomas, etc.).

My freelance experience includes audio transcription, translation and subtitling for Channel 4 documentaries and for a documentary produced by Save the Children charity on children affected by the war in Ukraine.
