M.Sc. Physics from the Lomonosov Moscow State University (LMSU), Department of Physics, majored in Biological Physics (1980). In the LMSU, besides physics, I studied biology, physiology, physical chemistry, biological chemistry, statistical methods in biology.
9-month externship in the Institute of Molecular Biology (Moscow).
5-month externship in the Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion (Moscow).

EXPERIENCE:
In 1980-1989 I worked as an electronics engineer and wrote my Ph.D. thesis.
In 1989-1998 I translated 56 literary works (novels and non-fiction books by Irwin Shaw, James H. Chase, Harold Robbins, Jacqueline Susann, Jacky Collins, John Irving and more) for top Russian publishers such as Eksmo, AST, Terra, and many others.
From 1999 to the present I have translated technical, medical and business documents (more than 500 thousand words annually) for direct clients and translation agencies from Europe and USA.
E.g., in 2013-2015 I completed 615 translation jobs for 57 customers from 15 countries, total source word count – 1 738 327.
