I was born in Russia where I got my first degree in English Language and Literature and had a year-long experience as an English teacher.

At the age of twenty I won scholarship to the Near East University in Nicosia, Northern Cyprus, where I got my bachelor's degree in International Relations. The medium of instruction at the University was English, besides, I managed to learn Turkish during my university years and got employed by the Head Branch of Creditwest Bank as a bank teller performing universal bank operations in Turkish and providing additional assistance to Russian and English-speaking customers.

 

After 2 years of banking experience, I spent a year in Russia working as an Assistant Economist at the State Medical Center specializing in AIDs research. I assisted the Chief Economist in daily tasks, prepared and concluded contracts with organizations and companies providing services to the Medical Center. 

In 2011 I got employed by the Head Office of Segure Insurance Company in Nicosia as an Insurance Technical Manager and supervised over 50 insurance agencies located in Northern Cyprus. 

Simultaneously with my job career I got my third degree of Bachelor of Human Resource Management by completing education in the Institute of World Economy and Informatization, Moscow, as a part-time student. 

Two years later I moved to Turkey together with my family and started freelancing career as a full time Freelance Translator working mostly with various documentation, including medical documentation in the field of clinical studies (mostly Russian into English) for reputable companies and organizations.

For the past 8 years, I have focused on translation work but have accepted interpretation assignments in-between my translation projects. 

As a multilingual, dynamic, result-oriented professional with an excellent knowledge of academic Russian and English, as well as fluent intermediate Turkish, I aim to keep focus on medical translations and other types of translation projects and interpretation assignments to apply the multilingual and multicultural education and work experience, as well as the skills already developed.
