Текст оригинала - русский Снижение доз профессионального облучения до возможно низкого уровня в процессе эксплуатации АЭС должно обеспечиваться соблюдением установленных проектом эксплуатационных пределов активности контролируемых технологических сред (теплоноситель первого и второго контура), воздуха рабочих помещений, мощности доз внешнего облучения, загрязнённости поверхностей, а также соблюдением инструкций по эксплуатации оборудования АЭС персоналом станции.
Ограничение внешнего облучения должно достигаться чётким планированием работ в зонах повышенной радиации и подготовкой персонала. Подготовка персонала, находящаяся в компетенции эксплуатирующей организации, необходима для получения каждым сотрудником уровня компетентности, который требуется в связи с его обязанностями и уровнем ответственности.
Планирование всех работ на станции должно вестись, исходя из соответствующих инструкций, норм и других стандартов, имеющих отношение к правилам проведения работ в радиационных полях.
Также для снижения внешнего облучения от загрязнённых поверхностей строительных конструкций и оборудования проектом должна предусматриваться регулярная дезактивация рабочих мест и коридоров для прохода персонала, дезактивация оборудования перед его обслуживанием и ремонтом.
Уровни загрязнения оборудования являются основой для разработки рекомендаций на установку дополнительных ограждений, переносных саншлюзов, а также регламента на порядок сборки и разборки оборудования при ревизии и ремонте c использованием специальной одежды и оборудования.
При работе с оборудованием, которое может являться по своей специфике или ввиду работы с ним (резка, сварка) источником радиоактивного загрязнения воздуха, должно предусматриваться использование индивидуальных средств защиты органов дыхания, а также использование передвижных установок местных отсосов.
Работа с открытыми радиоактивными веществами должно производиться в лабораториях, оснащённых специальными боксами или вытяжными шкафами, оборудованными дистанционными средствами или специальными перчатками, герметично вмонтированными в фасадную стенку, что полностью исключает прямой контакт обслуживающего персонала с радиоактивными веществами.
Основные требования для эксплуатирующей организации, регламентирующие организационные, технические и санитарно-гигиенические требования обеспечения радиационной безопасности персонала и населения при вводе в эксплуатацию, в процессе эксплуатации, при выводе из эксплуатации энергоблоков АЭС, а также в случае радиационной аварии на АЭС должны соответствовать действующим национальным нормативным документам.

Limitation of external radiation shall be achieved through clear scheduling in the increased radiation areas and through personnel training. The personnel training within the scope of the operating organization competence is required for every employee to gain the level of competence required due to his responsibilities and importance level.
All the works to be performed at the NPP shall be performed based on the corresponding manuals, codes and other standards related to the work performance regulations in the radiation fields.
Also the design shall provide for regular decontamination of work places and corridors for personnel passage and decontamination of the equipment prior to its maintenance and repair to reduce external radiation from contaminated surfaces of the civil engineering structures and equipment.
Equipment contamination levels are the basis to develop installation recommendations for additional enclosures, movable sanitary locks, as well as to develop regulations for assembly and disassembly of the equipment during inspection and repair using special clothes and equipment.
When handling the equipment that can be a source of radioactive air contamination due to its specific nature or the works performed on it (cutting, welding), the provision shall be made for the use of respiratory protective equipment and portable local suction units.
Open radioactive substances shall be handled in laboratories equipped with special compartments or exhaust hoods with remote devices or special gloves tightly mounted into the front wall, thus excluding a direct contact of the operating personnel with radioactive substances.
The main requirements for the operating organization regulating the organizational, technical, sanitary and hygienic requirements for radiation safety assurance of the personnel and the population during commissioning, operation and decommissioning of the NPP power units, as well as in case of a radiation accident at the NPP shall comply with the applicable national regulatory documents.
