Details express what the basic idea of the design requires at the relevant point in the object: belonging or separation, tension or lightness, friction, solidity, fragility..
Details, when they are successful, are not mere decoration. They do not distract or entertain. They lead to an understanding of the whole of which they are an inherent part.
Details express what the basic idea of the design requires at the relevant point in the object: belonging or separation, tension or lightness, friction, solidity, fragility..
Details, when they are successful, are not mere decoration. They do not distract or entertain. They lead to an understanding of the whole of which they are an inherent part.
I am 23 years old creative female human being, who is about to graduate with BSc (Hons) Architecture degree. I was born and raised in Lithuania (Vilnius), but my ethnic origin is Russian. I consider Lithuania as the birthplace of my mind and Russia as the birthplace of my heart.
I have participated in many different competitions in Literature and Linguistics. Also, I have got a rule of reading at least 1 book and 15 new articles per week. I used to translate the most interesting of them for my friends, family or volunteering projects for a couple of years before I felt ready to move on to the professional level.
