Dikma Technologies has been able to achieve an applicable pH range between 1.5-9.0 for Diamonsil C18(2). This was accomplished by utilizing a unique chemical-bonding technique. Comparatively wide applicable pH ranges are not uncommon, however, the problem normally encountered is a column’s ability to maintain extended tolerance and stability under comparative high or low pH levels. Due to this problem, experts at Dikma developed an experiment. The objective was to continuously wash Diamonsil C18(2) under pH conditions between 1.5 and 9.0 for a period extending longer than 1440 hours. Then, continual observations were made concerning column efficiency, retention time, symmetry factor, and capacity factor. The experimental data proved that Diamonsil C18(2) performed exceptionally well under the above conditions. The product was able to maintain tolerance and stability over an extended period of time.
