BACKGROUND

As a child I was fascinated by books and the worlds they opened, in school I developed a huge interest for language structures and the beauty of thought expression, and in high school I read most of the translator/interpreter blogs available at the time. I earned an MA in linguistics, translation & interpretation after 6 years of diverse and rigorous training.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• 1 year in the malls and retail industry as translator/interpreter/assistant
• 6+ years in a helicopter overhaul company as an interpreter of technical trainings and meetings, and a translator of technical trainings material, overhaul & maintenance documents and legal contracts
• 2 years of conference interpretation in the UAE: international conferences, board meetings and NGO meetings (after retraining with Cambridge Conference Interpretation Course in 2017 and AIIC EN-RU trainer in 2018)

I have an inquisitive and analytical mind as well as a very creative spirit. I enjoy work that challenges my skills and helps me grow. I am always eager to learn and explore new fields. I also like structure, consistency and good style.
