I'm a professional freelance full-time translator with over 17 years translation experience and strong technical background, including knowledge of electrical / electronic control systems, scientific documentation and/or other fields that require long experience.
I provide English->Lithuanian (also Russian->Lithuanian) translation services for companies and individuals from all over the world. I am skilled in translating technical documents with dense graphical content (pictures, tables, drawings, etc.). Just send me your original document in any form, including PDF or fax, and I'll provide Word translation that looks exactly the same as the original ducument.
During 15 years of my career as full-time English->Lithuanian translator I translated thousands of pages of scientific and technical literature, including "technical" fiction books. Many of my translations were published as articles in scientific or popular magazines and books. I translated Tom Clancy's book "The Hunt for Red October" into Lithuanian, published by VAGA Publishers Ltd. in 2003. This book amounts to 600 pages (Lithuanian edition) and contains so many technical descriptions of submarines and associated equipment that one of the reviewers called this book a "submarine operation manual".
