Draft law on protecting the rights of participants in shared construction projects
The RF State Duma has reportedly accepted the third reading of a draft law aimed at protecting the rights of participants in shared construction projects (see our report of 05/13/2010). According to the draft, developers may only sell dwellings in new buildings under shared construction contracts. In the event of violating these rules, legal entities will have to pay fines of RUB 500,000-1 million.
