... the only question is "when"?

Simply a question of memory capacity, data input and computing speed. The first and third are pretty much sorted, the second is being provided by short-sighted translators supplying the knowledge accumulated over many years in the form of Trados memories, input to web servers and the like, thereby bringing the prospect of effective machine translation ever nearer.

I'd give it five years... but then, I was saying that ten years ago!
