Actually it is a Sanskrit Epic Aug 6, 2012

Allow me to make a small correction here, it is a Sanskrit epic written at around 5th to 4th century B.C. This epic has various versions in many South Asian Countries as well as in many Indian languages, including Hindi. Perhaps Mr Seyyed is using Hindi Version for reference. Best wishes to him for this highly commendable effort of editing the Persian translation.
