His name is and will be, first of all, associated with “A Sound of Thunder”, a science fiction short story first published in Collier’s magazine in 1952. As of 1984, it was the most re-published science-fiction story up to the present time[1]. It is based on the concept that was later termed the Butterfly Effect. Me too.
I know it's childish, but I like to think of him exploring now galaxies, stars and planets without the limitations of gravity, breathing, or time. | | | Ildiko Santana США Local time: 10:36 Член ProZ.com c 2002 венгерский => английский + ... МОДЕРАТОР

We have Mr Electrico to thank for having touched young Ray Bradbury with his sword and commanded, "Live forever!" Thankfully, magic is no fantasy, magic is real (if in doubt, just read a Bradbury book!) and so it worked. A true genius, master of words, poet, philosopher, creator of marvels, ever playful child, scientist, magician, inventor, dreamer... Ray Bradbury will live forever. ▲ Collapse | | | Isabel Estevez Higueras (X) Испания Local time: 19:36 Член ProZ.com c 2011 французский => испанский I like The Martian Chronicles and Fahrenheit 451 | Jun 9, 2012 |
