In Poland the title of Sting was translated literally into Polish as a sharp poisonous pointed part of certain insects e.g. the sting of a bee/wasp.

Music & Lyrics May 20, 2011

The cute rom com Music & Lyrics starring Hugh Grant and Drew Barrimore was translated into German as "Mitten Ins Herz" which means "Right into the heart". Not sure what that has to do with the original plus it makes the movie look like a schmaltzy movie.
Also, the subtitles are sometimes so horribly wrong. For example in the making of feature on a DVD they you can see the girl hitting with spoons on glasses to make music and the director says, "You do that with the glasses" which was subtit... See more
