Reinstall Transit NXT after reinstall of Windos Vista

I had to reinstall Windows Vista on my computer due to problem with Vista.
Now I am reinstalling all my old software but got problenms with Transit NXT.
Have downloaded the installation pack from Star but the installation fails due to my license code.
I tried the code I got from Star when buying NXT. It has 54 characters.
But it does not work. I can not install.

Asked Star with e-mail but no answer so far.
Does anyone know something in this issue.... See more

Reistallation of Transit NXT Mar 5, 2011

Hi Lennart,
you can use the code Star gave you, however you need to reactivate the code on the following website:
https://activate.star-group.net
Star should have given you a login and password when they sent you the licence code.
See Chapter 7 of Transit NXT installation guide for details.

No Removal code Mar 6, 2011

Thanks for your answer

The activation link worksOK but then I have to type a Removal code.
I have got licence code and the rest but no Removal code.
Checked the harddisk and my backups
without result also my E-mail from Star does not contain the removal code only licence code and others.

You should have gotten the removal code form the program before uninstalling the system. Once you failed to do that, you will have to apply to Switzerland (through the party you bought Transit from, I suppose) to release the licence for you, I am afraid, signing affidavit you are not doing it to sell the new licence or something like that. I had to do it once, that is why I know.

I agree with Constantin, however try this. Go go to the Activation website (https://activate.star-group.net), select Orders, then click on Licences and then on the icon "Click to update licence" on the first column. Select the checkbox "I don't have a valid removal code" and enter the other details, such as the site code and machine ID. Then click on the button "Update licence". Not sure it works, but y... Tried this but got this message:
You can not update license with same site/mid code!?
I only hawe the codes given in the Activation Center.

Hope I will get an answer from STAR - have E-mailed them (Sweden and Germany), but no answer so far

I had to sign a statutory declaration and send it to STAR.
Then it will possible to activate my Transit-installation.
