Dear Colleagues,

The American Literary Translators Association Website is at http://www.utdallas.edu/research/cts/alta.htm

From their home page:

=====

The central office of ALTA is located at the University of Texas at Dallas and is currently funded by the university and through a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.

..........

Distinguished translators, including Margaret Sayers Peden, William Weaver, Roger Shattuck, and Gregory Rabassa, have been featured as keynote speakers at ALTA conferences.

=======

Anyone can take membership etc. I am not a member but it\'s open to all. I have heard good tidings about ALTA and plan to explore further before deciding on membership.

Explore and Enjoy!
