Emily wrote more than 1,100 poems and only a few were published while she was alive. Most of her small pearls had no titles but numbers.
Here, the one I love the most, number 729 (I think I`m going to change my proz motto )

I like this one where she plays with how our hearts leap over great events and ideas - but we remain hidebound by our little selves.
"I never hear the word "escape"
Without a quicker blood,
A sudden expectation,
A flying attitude!
I never hear of prisons broad
By soldiers battered down,
But I tug childish at my bars
Only to fail again!
