This was quite a lively meeting in the King & Queen pub, which is a good venue in central London, and nearly free of charge: most of us bought a drink and each of us gave a Pound to put in the landlord's charity collection jar. There was no scheduled talk but we all had plenty to talk about. At about 4 o'clock, at my suggestion, each member introduced him/herself, speaking for about a minute. We also discussed a couple of specific topics such as the difficult (in some cases) question of "native language" and some of the features of a few TM systems: Trados, Wordfast, MemoQ and OmegaT. One or two people had to leave early because of other commitments, but most stayed until we all left at about 18:20.
