I have an srt file for subtitling: I have chosen to edit text of subtitling by Notepad. It is going quite well, but before finishing it I have to save the translated subtitles back in str file. When I choose "Save as...", what should I do when the menu gives possibilities not supporting srt? I just really do not want to lose the previously completed work. Or how can I add a new segment to the menu?
Thank You in advance!

Must continue saving as .txt and then rename after closing the file to .srt This will not have any effect on the file other than making it usable for apps which use .srt file

In most target languages, SRT files require UTF-8 fonts or it may not function successfully.
In "Save As" of Notepad, you select file type as UTF-8 fonts.
