Dear colleagues,
I am trying to find a way to buy this E. Norm for an academic essay, but CEN does not sell it.
Does anyone know the organisation where I can purchase it on the Internet?
Also, do you know if the CEN/BTTF 138 has already been published?

Hello Maria,
The printing house Beuth Verlag ( www.beuth.de ) in Berlin has some different versions (English, French, Spanish) of EN 15038. Maybe you can can try to get a copy from there. The price varies from appr. 100 until 120 EUR, depending on shipping or download etc.

If you still want to buy it, any (subscribing) national standards body will have it, e.g. AENOR in Spain.
See http://www.euatc.org/ for the CEN/BTTF 138, although I don't think it has been released yet.

in fact, I am looking for the full version, so I tried to buy it from Beuth.
It´s weird that Beuth does not have a way to charge you, for example, by means of credit card, paypal, etc. but I assume their way is to charge you when you receive the book, do you have any experience at buying books from this editorial?

I had the draft version for quite a long time and then today found the final full version at:

As simple as that. It's worth buying if you plan to use it in your services. If you are just curious, any free draft should do.

The file you found is only the draft version, Jeff. It is also available on a few other places on the web (some of them unsecured). Perhaps you can tell us to what degree the final version differs from the draft version?
Either way, the draft version gives a good idea about the type of checks a translator should have in place.
