Hi, I have a customer who has decided to go with US English instead of UK English. How can I adjust my TM to suit, i.e. from German-UK English to German-US English?
Thanks for any tips.

Changing of TM language
Sep 24, 2004
1. Export the TM to a text file. 2. Open the txt file in Word. 3. Search and replace "Seg L=EN-GB" with "Seg L=EN-US". 4. Create a new TM with the relevant language combination. 5. Import the changed txt file.

Export, Edit, Import

Hallo!
This is no perfect solution:
Export your TM into a text file. Open this txt file in Notepad and change the language identificator from EN-GB into EN-US by Find/Replace. Then, go to workbench and set up a new TM. Import the new entries.

Simply export your TM to a text file. Then create a new TM with reversed languages (be sure you use the same languages, ie EN-GB and DE-DE) and import the exported TM into this one. So you have reversed your TM without any trouble.
Regards Jerzy
One should better read the posts and not only the subjects in mails - sorry. In that case follow the advice with replacing language names in exported file. This does work very good.
