Jeg har sagt meg villig til å ta et pro bono (gratis) prosjekt for Eriksen Translations Inc (et fantastisk firma som eies av ei norsk dame!) på 50 000 ord, og jeg fikk med meg noen fra klassen min (siste år på oversetterlinjen på HiA) til å hjelpe meg, men nå står jeg plutselig alene igjen med ca. 40 000 ord til 1. august.

Jeg har fulltidsjobb, så jeg klarer ikke så mange ord alene. Er det noen som er villig til å hjelpe meg å ta en del av dette prosjektet?

Her er litt info om prosjektet:

We were approached by a Norwegian member of Wakka Wakka Productions Inc. They are an international company that combines theater and puppetry. You can read more about them at www.wakkawakka.org.

Wakka Wakka is interested in creating the story of Moritz Rabinowitz. He was the only Jew in Haugesund in 1911, and is well known for “building a company out of a button”. He built a clothing empire that at one time employed hundreds of people. However, he was not only a very successful businessman. His sense of social responsibility led him to charity work, a long range of newspaper articles, and a book about the dangers of the times. As a result of his outspoken criticism of the Nazis and Scandinavia’s role in World War II, he and his family were taken to, and perished in, a concentration camp. ▲ Collapse
