Hello everyone
Does anyone know of any way to export a Skype conversation to e.g. a text file? I'm using Skype 8 on Windows 7. Googling for this gets me lots of advice for Skype 8 on Windows 10, which apparently has a message export feature, but I can't find such a feature on Skype 8 on Windows 7. It appears that the messages are not stored on my own computer at all. When I use the web-based Skype, all of my conversations load instantly, so I guess they're stored online somewher... One can select a small number of messages one by one with a mouse and click a "copy" button, but I have over 1000 messages in the thread that I want to copy.
Any ideas?

Sarcasm isn't helpful. Anyway, which of these pages contain the answer to my question? I have already visited all of them before I posted here.
1. This video relates to Skype 7.
2. This video does not (despite its title) explain how to export messages (only to migrate them).

Anyway, meaning to look up the path for you, I discovered much to my astonishment a folder which I never saw before (I think it came with the new Skype version).

Thanks, I have that as well, but that folder contains only the conversations from Skype 7. In my case, it contains only two conversations from way, way back when.
