Hi guys,

I'm getting the following error while trying to connect with a remote TM on wordfast pro:

"Failed to connect. Cannot leave read-write mode (bad password (26))."

Does anyone know how to fix it? It happened with different remote TMs.

Thanks

Is your issue resolved? Aug 27, 2016

Hi, Marina. Were you able to resolve your problem? I keep getting the same error with different TMs on different Wordfast versions and I haven't found any solution yet.

Check to make it read-only Aug 29, 2016

Hello,

Did you check to make sure that your remote TM is in read-only mode? If not, you may have either mistakenly entered a TM password or you did not enter a workgroup ID.

It might be best to contact your client directly to double check your connection string. They may also have misconfigured the TM on their server…

Kind regards,

John
