I have been trying to import a glossary from Excel to Wordfast Pro with no success.
When following the usual steps (Import terminology, select the file .txt) it all seems to go fine but after what seems like Worfast importing the glossry and error appears and the terminology list I get is missing many terms.
Anyone can help?
Thanks
Susana

Try an indirect method

Try saving the Excel glossary as a tab-delineated text file and then import that into Wordfast. Also check that your column headers correspond with your Wordfast glossary headers and check that you have no wildcard symbols in the first 4 letters of your glossary as Wordfast Pro doesn't like them. Also ensure that there are no empty cells in columns.

Thank you. I turns up the problem was coming from the Excell file.
Thanks

Missing terms when importing WF Pro glossaries
Mar 19, 2015
Hi Susana and BD,
I'm having the same problem and there's nothing to do with Excel.
I'm just trying to export and import a glossary through exactly the same TXT file generated by Wordfast Pro itself. Every time I import a glossary, it has less terms than when exported (more than 1,000 terms sometimes).
I'm not touching the TXT file. I'm just exporting and importing it.
I'm searching on Internet, but it seems that I'm alone... See more

I also got in touch with WF support, but I received no reply by now.
