Force segment short-cut

Each time I use force segment short-cut, a window jumps out to warn me:
when forcing a segment, the choice mustn't be within the segment, though it is never the case.

Can anybody help?

First highlight the required portion of the text to jump to, and then press Shift-Alt-Down

Are you sure? Did you close the segment (Alt+del) before you tried to force the segment?
