Does anyone know of any online references to proof work according to the neue Rechtschreibung. I\'ve noticed Canoo only. Further, any programs for purchase or available online that successfully correct grammar or idiomatic mistakes. Probably impossible but thought I\'d ask. I have MS word and am looking into acquiring the relevant files but am wondering what other possibilities are in existence.

A good source for German spelling and grammar rules is the Duden website at http://www.duden.de

You can also subscribe to their free newsletter. Regarding a tool or program to check grammar and spelling, you could buy Proofing Tools, a Microsoft add-on for Word. It contains a lot of other languages in addition to German and you can switch between the old and the new rules.
