It is hard to know what to do when you (and your kids!) clearly know so much more about the subject than the poor teacher. I alternated between sympathy for the teacher just trying to do her job and outrage at the fact that, among many other things, she told my son off for insisting that her pronunciation of moped, the motor vehicle with pedals, was wrong.
