I still remember this: When I was discussing possible computers for the lab where I worked (in Zürich) in the 1970s, a sales engineer from Hewlett Packard told us (in English because another member of my team had only a little knowledge of German), speaking of a possible option for the suggested computer "You can have this one, but you mustn't".
(Later, I told him in private that "Sie müssen nicht" is "you need not", not "you must not".)

I still remember when my Spanish partner was showing my Mum around a cathedral and said pointing to a statue "...and this is where Jesus exposes himself" [sic]
I had to leave as I was disturbing those in prayer with my laughter. | |
