Текст оригинала - английский A WORD ABOUT SOAP MOULDS
We have provided you with a square plastic mould, which you can use to set your soap. Just line it with a plastic bag such as a bin liner. Pour in your finished soap mix into your mould and cover it and leave till the next day. You can use most containers as moulds especially plastic and wood. If you have any packaging container or any plastic bowl in the house, line it with some bin liner so that your soap will be easy to bring out when it solidifies. You can also use a plastic bottle, just grease the inside generously, cut one side of it with scissors and then close the cut side with tape. Then pour your finished soap inside your mould, cover with a thick cloth and leave overnight.
The next day: remove your soap from the mould (if you used a plastic bottle, just remove the tape from the cut side and open the bottle, the soap should come out very easily).
Step 6: Cut your soap into your desired shape and size, lay out the bars on an airy surface to dry and cure for 2-3 weeks. Please note that the soap is still corrosive at this stage so do not be tempted to use it yet. If you have to try it, and then make sure you are wearing gloves! By the 3rd /4th week, your soap will be ready to use. ENJOY WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS!
Trouble Shooting: The best-laid plans can sometimes not work out so here is what to do when your soap making adventure does not turn out as it should:
Soap does not TRACE: This can sometimes happen if you have mixed the ingredients at very low temperatures. If your soap does not thicken as it should, all you have to do is heat up your soap mix very slightly, this will warm the soap mix up and enable the reaction to speed up. Once you have warmed up your soap mix, carry on mixing until it has thickened up and looks smooth. Pour into your mould as normal.
Oil Separation: While you are mixing your soap and you notice that there is a lot of oil floating on top, just carry on mixing, you can also mix more vigorously with a stick blender as this helps to speed up the process, eventually, all the oil will have been incorporated into the mix, your soap will thicken as normal. If this does not happen, warm your soap mix slightly to help speed up the reaction.
Soap becomes too thick to pour: This can happen if you fail to recognise when the reaction is complete. If this happens, simply scoop your soap mix into your mould and spread it out to fill the mould.

Alla 3ª o 4ª settimana, il sapone sarà pronto da usare. DIVERTITI AD USARLO O REGALARLO AD AMICI E FAMILIARI.
Problemi comuni: Anche i piani migliori alle volte falliscono. Ecco cosa fare se la tua avventura con il sapone fatto in casa non riesce come dovrebbe:
La fase del nastro non si verifica: A volte questo può succedere se hai mescolato gli ingredienti a temperature molto basse. Se il sapone non si addensa come dovrebbe, basterà scaldarlo un po’ di più per velocizzare la reazione dell'emulsione. Una volta riscaldata, continua a mescolare l’emulsione fino a che non si addensa e appare cremosa. Versa nello stampo normalmente.
Separazione degli oli: Se quando mescoli l'emulsione noti che parecchio olio è salito in superficie, continua a mescolare (magari usando un frullatore ad immersione che aiuterà a velocizzare il processo). Ben presto, tutto l’olio verrà incorporato nell’emulsione e il sapone si addenserà normalmente. Se questo non dovesse succedere, riscalda un po’ l’emulsione per accelerare la reazione di saponificazione.
L'emulsione è troppo densa e non riesci a versarla: Questo può succedere se non ti accorgi quando la reazione è completa. In questo caso, basta usare il cucchiaio per trasferire l’emulsione nello stampo e poi schiacciarla un po’ finché non aderisca bene allo stampo.

Текст оригинала - английский As you know, Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland, and is one of the favourite places to visit for tourists from all over the world. This is amazing for such a small city – only 450,000 people live here. But yet Edinburgh has a wide range of culture and entertainment for any visitor or resident, as well as offering easy access to sporting facilities and the beautiful Scottish countryside.
Modern Edinburgh has many sights for the visitor. At the end of the historical Royal Mile is our brand new parliament building, designed by Enric Miralles Moya, and completed by his widow when he unfortunately died during the project. Like many new buildings, it is controversial, with Edinburgh residents divided over whether it is wonderful or a disaster! However, it enjoys a fantastic location, with a visitor centre open to all. Many of our students visit the parliament as part of their course, when they are learning about Scotland’s culture.
Edinburgh also benefits from having four universities in the city, giving it a student population of over 50,000 and a vibrant student culture. Pubs, clubs, concerts, ceilidhs: all are there for ‘party animals’!
For lovers of other types of culture, Edinburgh has of course its world-famous arts festival in August. The influence of this is felt all year, with world-class theatre, ballet and opera performances, as well as exhibitions at the city centre National Gallery of Scotland, and its sister institutions, the Gallery of Modern Art and the Dean Gallery. A recent addition to Edinburgh’s visual arts scene is the Water of Leith sculpture trail, a walk along the river which flows from the Dean Gallery to the port of Leith. Along the way are 6 statues in the water, which form a permanent exhibition of Antony Gormley’s work.
People say that Glasgow is better for shopping than Edinburgh, but the Scottish capital has its own treasures, from modern fashionable shops like Harvey Nichols (visit the café for the views!) No British high street is complete without Marks and Spencers and Edinburgh is no exception, with the store right in the middle of Princes Street. Away from the modern department stores, there is a wealth of small independent shops at the West End or in Stockbridge.
But Edinburgh is perhaps most famous as a historical city. Edinburgh Castle is an iconic image, and now the site in summer of a variety of open air concerts, as well as providing the background for our Hogmanay celebration at New Year. No visit to Edinburgh is complete without a walk down the Royal Mile, from the castle to Holyrood Palace taking in as many of the little museums as possible. Gladstone’s Land, for example, shows what life was like before the New Town was built, and the Museum of Childhood further down takes you back to your own early days, or lets you see what life was like for previous generations of children. The other major historical sight is of course the Palace of Holyrood House, where the Queen stays when she visits the city. There is now a gallery attached to the palace, showing works from the royal collection
When you have visited the major sights, just wandering the old cobbled streets and drinking in the atmosphere can be a remarkable experience. There are now tours of some of the city’s ‘hidden treasures’ for an alternative view of the city.
Whatever you are interested in, Edinburgh has something for you. Come and find it!

In fondo allo storico Royal Mile si trova il nuovo edificio del Parlamento, progettato da Enric Miralles Moya e portato a termine dalla moglie dopo il suo decesso. Come molti altri nuovi edifici, il nuovo parlamento ha causato opinioni contrastanti tra i residenti. C’è chi lo trova un capolavoro e chi lo considera un disastro. Tuttavia, la sua posizione è fantastica, ed ha anche un centro turistico aperto al pubblico.
