Over the years, I have been subtitling (time-coding and translating) various video content for TV and streaming service providers (over 900 projects, including movies, TV series, documentaries, cartoons, etc.) paying special attention to culture-specific content such as slang, wordplay, songs with rhymes, puns, dialects, etc.
I have also gained experience in localization of dialogues made for dubbing.

I am a Ph. D. linguist and a freelance translator among the English-Serbian/ Montenegrin triad. I have been working as a translator and subtitler for the past 12 years.

While I was born in Montenegro and completed my secondary education there, my Ph.D. degree comes from Serbia. Coming from a bilingual background, I am a native of English and Montenegrin/Serbian.
In my everyday work, I use CAT Tools such as MemoQ and Transit, and subtitling programs Subtitle Edit and Aegisub.

I have about 10 years of subtitling experience under my belt, i.e. hundreds of TV series, feature films, documentaries etc.
