Hi all,
I have found the Kudoz bar to be of immense value for my day-to-day work. So much so, that I have installed it at both the internet browsers I use, IE and Firefox.
Now, when running spyware and a new antivirus software on my PC today (my antivirus is brand new, the spyware is not new but has proven to be quite helpful), both point at the Kudoz bar as "potentially harmful". Would anyone know why this happens?
Thank you.
Mariana

Hi Mariana
Aug 31, 2007
First of all, please note that I have moved the thread to ProZ.com technical support forum.
I don't know the details as I myself don't use the KudoZ bar, however I can tell you that it is software problem only and the KudoZ bar isn't harmful for sure. This problem has been discussed earlier, though it seems that the right solution hasn't been found: http://www.proz.com/topic/38433

a) cookie(s) used b) absolute URLs is the source c) php code executing (?) beneath the surface
But ... we know out ProZ dont we? I would not worry. Pat the new antispyware and antivirus software for being watchful.
