Background

I trained in German and Russian at the University of Durham before spending approximately 20 years in the IT industry between the 80s and the early 2000s.  I then returned to my first love, languages, and have been a translation professional since 2010.

What I offer
I can offer technical and business translation in most areas, including IT, a range of engineering material and life sciences, including medical and zoological (herpetology is one of my specialities!). I am also happy to do letters and contracts. 

I pride myself on accurately conveying the correct meanings of technical words and expressions, and delivering translations that have been thoroughly checked.
