Experience as an in-house translator and teacher

Before starting to work as a freelancer, I have taught German the University (MSLU) for 3 years. I have also worked as an in-house translator (German, English) for a Slovenian engineering company (Riko) for 4,5 years - written translation of technical documentation to different types of machines, technical requirements, tender documentation, metal cutting tools catalogs, accounting documents), interpreting during trainings for CNC machine programmers, mechanics and operators at the works MTZ, MAZ, AGU, BelAZ, Gomselmash, BMZ (Belarus); business correspondence with company partners; interpreting during visits of representatives of the company Walter AG Walter AG (manufacturer of metal cutting tools, Germany). Meanwhile, I have cooperated with several translation agencies.

Volunteering

Since October 2015 I help to translate texts for The Rosetta Foundation as a volunteer translator (German to Russian, English to Russian). This charity registered in Ireland supports non-profit organizations with translations into a variety of languages. I have 9 years of professional experience as a translator (German to Russian, English to Russian) and interpreter (German to Russian, Russian to German)

Since 2016, I have my own volunteering project. I help to translate medical documents from Russian into German and vice versa for free for those people who need clarification of diagnosis or treatment in Germany or German-speaking countries.
